A worker is late or absent - how should I handle it and document it?¶
Contact the worker as soon as possible via the integrated chat or via phone (you can find their number in their Candidate Profile) to find out why they are absent or late. If they are ill, follow your internal procedure for permanent staff and then record the absence on the digital timesheet in Cruits when the time comes. To do this, click "Edit" on the relevant timesheet starting next Monday, select the absent day, click "Mark as Absence," and choose the appropriate reason: No-show, Leave, Sick, or Holiday not worked. The day is marked, hours are adjusted to zero, and the variance is updated accordingly.
For complex or escalating situations, contact Cruits Manager at management@cruits.com. In cases of repeated no-shows or unprofessional behaviour, you can leave a review on the worker's profile to inform other employers.
